Congratulations on my boy Mikey O. and all of the comics featured on this ABC 7 special this past weekend. Mikey’s a producer in Chicago and he’s a champion of giving Latinos a shot to get onstage and be funny. Elizardi Castro, Joey V., Gwen La Roka, Patti Vazquez, myself, and the list goes on and on. He gave comics that you know today opportunities to perform in front of crowds that they might not have been exposed to before. TJ Miller, Kyle Kinane, Kumail Nanjiani. We all cut our teeth performing at his shows and we’re forever grateful. If you’re ever in Chicago and have a chance to see a Mikey O. show, holler at that!
